The gospel in brief

Jesus Christ is God the Son become man. He lived a sinless life in order to be a perfect substitute and sacrifice for our sins on the cross, where He shed His blood and died. Three days later God raised Him to life.

Because He lives, we can have eternal life instead of death. We must believe what God's word says about Jesus. By faith in Him, through grace, we receive Jesus' perfect righteousness, which is credited to our account.

God the Father declares that those who take refuge in Jesus for salvation are fully justified before Him, redeemed from sin and death, and reconciled to Him forever.

The sinless Lord Jesus Christ, God the Son, has died on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for all our sin.

We know God the Father has accepted Jesus' payment in full because He raised Jesus from the dead.

Jesus is the only Savior. Believe this and you will be saved from your sin. —Acts 4:12

Jesus said, "Whoever comes to Me I will never drive away." —John 6:37

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. —Romans 10:13
